Editorial Team
Every HomeInChef article is written and reviewed by editors with real-world kitchen and product expertise. Our team combines years of home cooking, product testing, and digital publishing experience to deliver guides you can trust.
Hossam Bousserhane — Founder & Editor-in-Chief
Hossam founded HomeInChef in 2026 after years of frustration with shallow, affiliate-driven kitchen content online. With a background in digital product research and a personal passion for home cooking, he designed HomeInChef around one principle: every recommendation must be defensible with data, user feedback, and real testing context.
Areas of focus: air fryers, small kitchen appliances, kitchen workflow optimization, modern kitchen design.
Editorial responsibilities: overall editorial standards, final review of pillar guides, partnership integrity, methodology updates.
Research & Review Process
Our editorial process for every guide:
- Topic validation. We confirm there is genuine reader demand and a content gap worth filling.
- Data collection. Manufacturer specifications, third-party tests (Consumer Reports, Wirecutter, CNET, Good Housekeeping), and verified user reviews on Amazon and Reddit.
- Outline & angle. The senior editor defines the unique angle — what readers will get here that they cannot get from generic listicles.
- Drafting. Writers produce a draft that includes data citations, realistic pros/cons, and clear buying scenarios.
- Editorial review. Editor verifies sources, removes filler, checks affiliate placements, and ensures Google E-E-A-T signals (experience, expertise, authoritativeness, trust).
- Publication & monitoring. Article goes live and is tracked. We update or merge content when newer models launch or when reader feedback indicates issues.
